Very proud to have KYKoe Scrunchie headbands apart of our Hamper and Gifting Range.
KYKOE is a 100% Indigenous owned and operated small business run solely by proud Barada Barna, Butchulla, Saisarem and Cingalese woman, Tishara Garrett. Each product is cut, sewn and packaged by one pair of busy hands juggling children and business - all from the spare room in a very loud but loving home
DABOR: Dabor means Mackeral in Meriam Mer. This design includes Torres Strait Islander motives depicting dabor swimming through the ocean. It also includes details of dabor eggs representing the continuation of the life cycle. This design pays respect to dabor as one of Tishara's totems and celebrates her bloodlines as a Saisarem woman from Erub.
SANDHILLS: This gorgeous brown design was created with Butchulla Country in mind. Specifically K'Gari and it's huge sandhills
WULIBAYI BULBAN: Meaning wild flower in Barada Barna this pastel scrunchie headband includes details of wild flowers growing on Country. It is a celebration of blooming - through the hard times and challenges something beautiful is at the end of it all. Even if you bloom and there's no one there to see, you are still wildly beautiful.
